Commercial Insurance Account Executive

We are currently recruiting for a well-known brand of an ambitious broking group, who now seek to appoint a Commercial Account Executive, to come on board to take over and manage a book of business, with the remit to both retain and grow this. the book currently stands around the £200k income mark and made up of SME to mid market business, with premiums up to £10k, and this would be the area you would be tasked with finding and winning new clients in too.

Full Account Handling support will also be provided, with a team of very experienced Handlers.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have at least five years commercial insurance experience in a customer facing role, ideally being at least Cert CII qualified. You will also need to be confident in dealing with an existing bank of clients as well as incoming new business enquiries of course confident in dealing with all major classes of commercial insurance – property, business interruption, liabilities, professional indemnity, etc. Experience of using Acturis would also be a bonus.

On offer is a basic salary of £50-60k + Car allowance and bonus potential on all new business.

Office hours are Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm, with hybrid working available.
