My client, a high profile civil engineering and construction firm are currently looking for Section Engineers for a prestigious rail project in the North East of England.
As a Section Engineer you will promote and deliver civil engineering excellence on the project.
Candidate Responsibilities
Supervising and mentoring assistant, trainee engineers.
Provide a full Planned Preventative Maintenance, breakdown response, repair and continuous improvement function to all Logistics Warehousing facilities.
Shift pattern: 3-2-2, 12 hour rotating days/nights (often known as a panama' shift pattern), working across Monday-Sunday.
Preferably specialised in Structural Design Engineering, with expertise in pressure vessel calculations and piping stress analysis, you will design or collaborate with contractors to define and review design packages.
The Mechanical Engineer will handle the mechanical design of packaged equipment, including structural steel, pressure vessels, and piping.
You will also provide design inputs, manage design issues, and interface with clients, contractors, vendors, and third parties.
Plan, coordinate, and manage specific sections of the construction project, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and delivery of key sections of a large scale Infra project.
This position requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure project success.
