The School of Engineering & Construction at Carshalton College are seeking a Plumbing & Gas Tutor/Assessor to train and assess students on College programmes, and in particular, to contribute to the Gas Centre curriculum in its work with delivering and assessing of NVQ's, technical certificates and apprenticeships.
We're looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of the Plumbing / Gas industry and who has current knowledge of industry practice and techniques, specifically relevant to Gas.
You will also deliver and assess on a wide range of Plumbing programmes.

Due to internal promotion of the previous incumbent, we are looking for a Vice Principal to have responsibility for day-to-day curriculum leadership at Carshalton and Merton Colleges, along with responsibility cross Group for developing Inclusive Learning and opportunities for students with learning difficulties and disabilities, and for the oversight of English and Maths.
This role will be part of the wider Group Leadership Team, who have collective responsibility for the delivery of the College Vision, Strategic Plan and Objectives, as well as the Annual Operating Plan.
You will lead the Group's Inclusive Learning strategy, ensuring effective curriculum development and plans for local and regional partners are achieved, and lead the Group's English and Maths strategy, with a particular focus on 16-18 study programmes, ensuring that target income and contribution levels are achieved for High Needs Students, Additional Learning Support, and in mainstream curriculum areas for which responsible.
