About the Job: Provision of administrative support for the Driver Assessment Team which supports the processes for the delivery Topographical Skills Assessments for private hire driver candidates and existing private hire drivers. Support activities include dealing with customers face to face when bookings candidates and drivers in for Topographical, Safety, Equality and Regulatory Understanding (SERU) and English Language (ELT) assessments. In addition, there are additional back office tasks (Results Letters and Email Management) as and when required when staffing levels necessitate. Key Information Contract duration: 6 months (View to extend) Location: Greenwich/West Kensington Hourly Pay rate: £14.72 PAYE or £18.52 Umbrella Working days: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week Start date: ASAP Client: London Fire Brigade Key Responsibilities Review, maintain and use established filing systems. Create and update systems and their documentation as required. Data entry onto a range of software systems including MS Excel Reproduce and distribute documents by appropriate means as required. Ensure equipment and data are safeguarded against damage and breaches of confidentiality. Produce business documents as required using the Brigade's standard software. Write routine correspondence and reports appropriate to the work undertaken. Produce paperwork for meetings, writing agenda and notes of proceedings as directed. Skills, Knowledge and Experience Experience of taking cash and Card payments Experience of using standard computerised office systems and specialised computer databases such as MS Office Applications The ability to communicate with people in a professional and helpful manner in order to exchange information and to offer advice and assistance.
