We are currently working with a leading property business, who are looking to hire an additional Property Manager to help with their tenanted portfolio.
Key responsibilities
Liaising with tenants, assisting them with general queries and providing an excellent level of customer care.
General
The role will provide a great opportunity to work directly on a single landlords portfolio, giving you a great amount of autonomy in the day to day running of the properties:
The Property Manager is primarily responsible for the delivery of management services to a portfolio of residential and, where applicable, mixed-use buildings and estates.
The Property Manager may, in cases of a large portfolio, have an assistant property manager to work alongside them and should endeavour to develop the individual's skills for succession management.
This role will be the direct interface with the Client/Freeholder and Leaseholders within their portfolio.

Property Manager
Once initial training has been completed the role will primarily be undertaken working from home but with 4 to 6 days each month you will be expected to work at Chelmsford office as the Property Manager, although this may vary slightly on occasions so once training has been completed this will be predominently be a hybrid role.
You should ideally be working within Residential Property Management, although we will consider candidates with Commercial or Block Management experience who can demonstrate a proven track record in either customer service or problem-solving environments.
Hybrid working will commence once initial training is completed, depending on relevant experience and how quickly you learn the role, this can typically take 2 to 3 months, so you must be prepared to commute to Chelmsford on a daily basis until such time as your training is deemed complete.
This role will focus on tenancy management, customer service, and community engagement.
