About the Client: Communicate Recruitment is currently partnering with an exciting Professioanl Services business. This company is seeking a Senior Partnership Accountant to join their finance team. Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Partnership Accountant to manage and oversee the financial operations related to partner finances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, managing partner payments, and supporting the finance team with strategic insights. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of partnership accounting. Key Responsibilities: Partner Finance Management: Ensure consistent and seamless financial services are delivered to partners globally. Develop and enhance Partner Finance systems and controls, utilizing consistent processes and technology. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise the Partnership Accountant and Tax & Partner Finance Assistant. Collaborate with the Partner Finance Manager to oversee resources and processes. Provide timely and accurate financial information to management in a dynamic environment. Foster a supportive and collegial working environment, enhancing team members' contributions. Coach and support new and existing team members. Partner Payments: Prepare relevant workings and paperwork to efficiently deliver Partner remuneration. Ensure timely and coordinated payments to partners, subject to appropriate approvals. This includes: Payment modelling Quarterly Distribution Lock-up incentive scheme Quarterly Drawings Quarterly Memos Cashflow Forecasts: Prepare and distribute individual cashflow statements for partners annually and on an ad hoc basis. Provide timely, accurate distribution forecasts and partner cash flow forecasts for management. Prepare monthly global cashflow reports. Monthly Reconciliations and Reports: Oversee responsibilities related to Member Equivalent Drawings, Current Account Reconciliations, Individual Cashflow Forecasts, Sundry Debtor Reconciliation, FX journals, and payment schedules. Provide partner statistics and manage surveys. Additional Responsibilities: Prepare loan notes and provide information for UK tax computations related to unpaid salaries. Manage budgets, partner recharges, and handle retirement issues. Address partner queries and finance queries. Assist in moving partner data to the new HRIS. Year-End Responsibilities: Prepare and distribute individual current account statements. Provide information for member equivalent accruals calculations. Handle audit queries and partner gender pay reporting. Processes and Controls: Evaluate and improve Partner Finance team processes. Finance and Accounting: Maintain strong relationships with Business Finance stakeholders. Address local and group accounting, tax, foreign exchange, and partner remuneration issues. Efficient fulfillment of Partner Finance team obligations. Timely dissemination of accurate information to stakeholders. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) and/or tax adviser. Minimum of 5 years of partnership experience in legal or large corporate organisations. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
