The Qualified Social Worker in Adults Learning Disabilities Team vacancy in Cornwall will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.
We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker for the Adults Learning Disabilities Team within the Social Care industry in Cornwall.
The Local Authority (LA) undertakes a wide range of statutory and non-statutory activity to ensure that effective education impacts positively on the outcomes for children and young people from birth to the age of twenty-five who have SEN (special educational needs) in the Local Authority.
Statutory responsibilities are set out in the Children and Family Act 2014 (part 3) and the SEND (special educational needs and/or disabilities) Code of Practice 0-25 2015.
The purpose of the Statutory SEN Service is to enable effective education to impact positively on the outcomes for children and young people from birth to the age of twenty-five who have the most complex learning needs in the Local Authority.
