Our Local Authority Client are seeking a qualified Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their Disabled Children's Therapy Service in Mid and West Cornwall.
Paediatric Occupational Therapist
3 month initial contract with the view of extension
£26p/h (Potentially negotiable dependent on experience)
Truro, Cornwall
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
- Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings, goals, and the specific needs of the child.
- Provide hands-on therapy to improve fine motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- Educate and train parents, caregivers, and family members on techniques to support the child's development at home.
- Assess and evaluate the occupational therapy needs of children with disabilities, aged 0-18 years.
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience of working with children
- Experience of Equipment and Adaptations
