We are currently recruiting for a Schools Family Support worker to join the Early Help Service to support vulnerable children, young people and families in the Liverpool area.
This position is
36 hours per week.
initial 3 month contract with the possibility of extension.

Fostering Social Worker needed for Liverpool City Council
Pay Rate is £35p/h
Responsibilities of this role
Recruit, assess, and monitor the continued suitability and competence of foster carers, ensuring they provide a safe, healthy, enjoyable, nurturing and learning environment for the children they care for.
Provide professional consultation, advice support and challenge to social work practitioners/ managers on critical child protection decisions, and on care planning for children in care (looked after per Children Act 1989).
Chair and minute Statutory Reviews for Looked After Children within agreed timescales so a care plan and permanency plan for each child is implemented without drift or delay.
Chair Child Protection conferences, identify risk and decide upon the need for a child to be subject to child protection plan, to ensure effective decision making about thresholds for child protection and child in need plans.
