Inspire People is seeking a Service Management Consultant with current government security clearance of SC or above to play a key role in supporting and guiding a Public Sector client to successful implementation of a new technology capability, developed to embed the service management wrapper into a BAU capability and improve service maturity.
Remote working with occasional travel to London or Birmingham (2 to 3 times a month).
£550 to £600 per day Outside IR35 expected to run from July 2024 to March 2025 and may continue into the next financial year.
The Service Delivery Manager is involved in a variety of tasks that requires management of the Automation, SOC and Server Administration teams, interaction with Company's customers and the customer systems.
The candidate needs a solid understanding of primarily Microsoft systems and leading IT technologies.
This role also requires the ability to troubleshoot issues and to mentor and develop staff when required.
Typically these services will include systems; applications, technical infrastructure, business process and IT service provision, using multiple delivery channels.
As the Service Manager will own and deliver medium scale services or will take responsibility for part of a large service under the direction of a senior delivery manager, to client and cost, risk, quality and service performance targets.
As a Service delivery manager, you will play a critical role in their support team.
