We are once again working with a prestigious FTSE 250 Real Estate and Asset Management business who are currently seeking a Service Charge Accountant to join their successful team based in South London.
The successful candidate will be working alongside an experience Service Charge Manager whilst completing your own service charge duties across their UK portfolio that is made up of commercial properties nationwide.
As a Service Charge Accountant, you'll be responsible for the preparation of a portfolio of Client Accounts, Preparing Annual Service Charge Accounts, External Audit, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Monthly/Quarterly Reporting and Assisting with Year End Reconciliations.

The firm provides bespoke Property & Asset Management Services.
They manage a portfolio of 145 assets throughout the United Kingdom with a rent collection exceeding £55 million and over £20.5 million of service charge funds under its management for a variety of Clients.
We are currently partnering with a multi-practice commercial property consultancy established in Mayfair.
The ideal candidate must have property service charge and accounting experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Charge Accountant to join a well-established, successful and forward-thinking company in the property industry.
Previous experience in the preparation of statutory and service charge accounts is essential.
A role for a Service Charge Accountant has become available in our service charge team based in Birmingham.
The role is to work within the service charge accounts team, preparing and finalising the reconciliations of internally certified service charge accounts to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting full review of service charge expenditure and ensuring all posting errors are identified and corrected and posting journal transfers, accruals and prepayments as required.
