Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Service Charge Accountant looking for a rewarding role in the property management sector? We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Charge Accountant to join our client's experienced and long-standing team.
Main responsibilities for the Service Charge Accountant will be:
The Role will include:
- Preparation of annual service charge accounts.
- Provision of both monthly and quarterly client reports and accounting analysis.
- Bank Reconciliations for year-end accounts.
- Provision of accurate, timely and effective accounting information to all parties
- Ensuring the integrity of accounting records and controls in line with regulations
- Posting items on the management system (omissions & corrections) when reconciling service charge accounts
- Posting Accruals and Prepayments
- Credit Control
- Ad hoc reports and duties as required
You will:
- Have strong Service Charge Accounting experience as well as property management knowledge.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Have good organisational skills and are willing to be flexible and assist with a variety of different tasks within the department.
- Knowledge of the Propman system is advantageous
