One of our amazing SEND schools is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who can confidently work with young people aged 5 25 years old with profound and moderate learning difficulties (PMLD).
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, personalized support to students with PMLD.
Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
To be involved in the Care Management process under the overall responsibility of a Senior Social Worker or Assistant Team Manager.
To work with vulnerable adults to assess their needs, make appropriate recommendations, and contribute to the development of support plans that enable people to achieve the optimum level of independence.
To provide a sensitive, responsive and appropriate response to people who use services and their carers.
