A globally recognised organisation is now looking for an addition to the finance team by bringing in an experienced Senior Credit Controller.
Joining a busy finance team and taking complete ownership of a large portfolio of debtors, this position will see you building relationships with debtors, monitoring client arrears and collating / distributing arrears reports, maintenance of client relationships, reconciliation of accounts and correct allocation of receipts (closely working with other finance departments in the business), liaising with solicitors, negotiating when necessary and dealing with any ad-hoc queries.

The role will be accountable for
Run regular debt reports for the team to analyse outstanding debt within portfolio and populate with detailed information relating to ongoing queries and actions taken to recover outstanding invoices.
Ensure debtors are managed appropriately and bad debt is kept to a minimum using effective credit control and debt management practices; ensure agreed cash collection targets are met.
Resolve complex queries and issues through contact with customers, logistics, account managers and internal stakeholders - including the gathering of information and paperwork, and investigation into discrepancies.
You will provide in-depth analysis of marketing/advertising spend, helping your audience to understand the drivers behind identified trends and thus adequately inform decisions on future sales strategy.
This role will see you provide meaningful strategic support to the commercial and operational teams for the business to facilitate better decision-making.
You will also driving change where required at different levels right across the business.
