We are looking for an immediately available individual, to undertake a temporary role as a Security Guard, working for a prestigious institute based on the Biomedical Campus, Cambridge.
This assignment is to start immediately, for an initial 3-6 month period (possible transition to permanent contract).
You will be working full-time on a 24/7, 365-day shift pattern consisting of 4 days on 07:00 - 19:00, 4 days off, 4 nights on 19:00 - 07:00, 4 days off.
You will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of contractors, escorting them around the establishment.
Main duties will be to escort maintenance contractors onto site, checking vehicles, searching all trades people, checking in and out tools and ensuring all visitors to site adhere to the health and safety policies.
Working hours will be Monday-Friday (39 hours per week) overtime.
Your key day-to-day duties will involve operation of the security Desk, CCTV, security of the building and reporting anything to senior management.
As a Temporary Security Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of the highest levels of customer service to all residents, guests and external contractors at the development and will be the first and main point of contact for all security queries.
