This role will be on call to attend site and act as first responder to any fire activations and be responsible for management of fire evacuations onsite within a managed Buildings and Estate in Canary Wharf.
Our client seeks to employ a Fire & Security Engineer due to their continued growth.
You will report to the Service Manager and be responsible for the maintenance of Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Smoke Vents, Fire Extinguishers around Manchester, Leeds & Sheffield area on a wide variety of clients' sites.

Under the guidance of the Premises Team Leader and/or Premises and Facilities Manager to provide a safe environment for staff, service users and visitors; ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation.
To be responsible holding and securing premises keys for purpose of the opening and closing of centres; ensuring that effective locking up and opening procedures are followed and provide access to internal areas as appropriate i.e.
To ensure Adult Learning Lewisham and designated community premises are secure, clean, warm.
Experience of building management, maintenance and site security.

The successful applicant will be the lead member of our client's premises team responsible for the maintenance, health and safety and security of our client's secondary school in Greenwich.

This includes the management and running of the Lewisham Homes CCTV system.
To co-ordinate the day-to-day operation of the Boroughs 24 hour CCTV system in accordance with the scheme's code of practice, operational procedures and statutory regulations.
Day to day running of the CCTV control room presently monitoring over 500 cameras covering the borough.
