We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to oversee our Pet retail channels throughout the UK. In this pivotal role, you will focus on expanding distribution for our newly launched Daily Care range for pets, while also enhancing the reach of our Human Health product lineup, including Bio-Kult. Your expertise will be instrumental in forging and nurturing strong partnerships with key retailers, such as major grocery chains and leading pet retailers like Pets at Home, Pets Corner, and Jollyes. By driving sales growth and ensuring our products are prominently showcased, you will play a vital role in our ongoing success in these competitive markets. Responsibilities Win new business within the Pet channel. Manage a selection of Grocery accounts (Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Morrison's, Asda) and Pet Retail accounts - (Pets at Home etc). Implement JBP's to align with wider business strategy. Create and develop joint business plans that will deliver against the company's objectives. Provide forecasts and full P&L. Evaluate ROI from media activities within accounts and help implement effective marketing and promotional plans. Win new listings and work with range reviews to increase distribution and provide a comprehensive analysis to improve sales. Prepare for and lead customer facing meetings. Ongoing planning and management of promotions throughout the trading year, providing supporting analysis where required - aligning to key events. Maintain relevant stock trackers (SO&P forecasting) and key information on EPOS sales out vs sales in. Deliver robust distribution, availability, visibility, and promotion plans by customer. Lead periodic account review meetings providing insights on drivers of performance. Manage and process invoices, claims, and deductions to agreed levels. Complete new line forms and price change forms as required. Becoming an expert on the category that the company operate in, with the support of Category and Insights team Qualifications: Beneficial but not mandatory to have a Business Degree or equivalent qualification. Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales / national account management role. Experience within Pet/VMS category. Skills and Competencies: Strong commercial skills and ability to document P&L. Excellent commercial acumen and proven new business hunter. Excellent IT, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Excellent presentation, attention to detail and communication skills. Proven track record of sales and account management.
