What will you do?
You'll be responsible for supporting production team members to deliver business goals across two production facilities that manufacture products according to GMP standards.
With the support of the Production Manager, you will oversee scheduled production activities, ensuring Health & Safety standards are upheld, and resources are used efficiently.
You'll develop the team to use lean tools, identify opportunities for improvement and support the delivery of those improvements across the business in conjunction with the Production Manager.
You'll occasionally cover other Team Leaders across the various shifts, and be a visible lead in the business for ensuring processes and procedures are followed, especially relating to health and safety. You'll also get to assist with recruitment and selection and support the wider team with ensuring performance excellence.
What we need from you:
You'll have a production background with knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing/continuous improvement techniques, and be someone who has previously supervised or led a team of people, ideally within a regulated environment. Production machinery knowledge and the capability to improve processes is vital.
The role is working on day shift Monday to Friday, with the occasional requirement to work at other times to support the business.
