The role would be supporting the Area Sales Manager by going into existing customers (Builders Merchants) and doing product demonstrations, Training the staff and customers, up selling the products and Merchandising.

PRINCIPLE SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES
To drive sales through product demonstrations and customer product training exceeding KPIs targeted.
You will provide excellent sales and customer service in-store and by phone, prepare customer quotations, order goods and negotiate with suppliers, pick customer orders and be responsible for managing goods in and out of the store.
We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Sales Assistant for our Newbury store.
You'll build relationships with customers, prepare merchandising displays and offer expert advice on products.
Working within a leading innovative hydraulic systems company, you will be supporting the Fire Protection (FP) sector primarily for the sales in the territory of the UAE (but will also support FP UK from time to time).
This will be through your own effort as well as collaborating and utilising the capabilities of the sales focused Marketing Department.
With the full backing of the business, you will take responsibility for driving and delivering lead generation and other marketing exercises for your market territory.
