Credit Controller Hybrid Working (2 days at home) Leeds Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a large, very well established, utilities business in Leeds. This role is for a 14 month FTC to cover a maternity leave with the flexibility of hand over at both ends. The position will cover all Credit Control / Sales Ledger and you will directly report into the Finance Manager. You would be working within a fast paced office but the finance team are very supportive of each other and full company training will be provided. Key responsibilities Full responsibility of running the Credit Control Function Managing customer Credit limits Carrying out credit checks on new customers Collecting of overdue accounts via phone and letter Cash allocation Full sales ledger responsibilities including weekly banking Dealing with invoice queries Account litigation where necessary Data reconciliation and preparing reports for customers Petty Cash handling Month end close down Monthly reporting of customer spends Addition ad hoc duties as and when required To be successful considered for this role, you will bring the following experience / skills: Experience of working within a credit control position is essential Qualifications to GCSE or NVQ2 level with passes in Maths and English at grade 3 MS Office packages with VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables is desirable but training can be provided Please get in touch today if you are interested or would like more information.
The hourly rate for this role is £11.44 and up to £12.02 across selected location. The hourly rate will increase after 6 months in role. Our airport stores typically have an earliest shift start time of 9:00pm and the latest shift end time of 5:00am. To obtain an airside pass you will need to provide 5 years of references with any gaps in employment covered by character references. About the role You will work onsite and report into the Assistant or Store Manager and in the bustle of the airport where customers are rushing through to catch that flight it's important that we create a great shopping environment. There are so many different customers from those travelling on business, to those travelling long distance and you'll be there to help provide a great shopping experience. Working as a team. From helping with the delivery and putting products on to shelves, to being on the tills, no two days are the same. Working as a team, you will help to make sure that our stores are clean, tidy, and presentable and provide a store that we can be really proud of. Be an expert. You will know the products across your store meaning you can give great advice, showing your customers options they might not have considered before.
