Stock Controller Location: Maidenhead Salary/ Benefits/ Schedule: £30,000 - £35,000 (Dependant on Experience). Holidays: Enjoy 28 paid holiday days, including bank holidays. Company pension scheme. Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Stock Controller, with proven experience of ensuring the organised, smooth, and efficient operation of the stock and parts stores. This role has opened due to continued growth within the business, and the successful candidate will be joining an existing team of 3 within the service department. This role is a hands-on position, where your time will be split between the office within the service department, and within the stores room itself. Key Responsibilities: Regularly check and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability. Order new stock as required to avoid shortages and ensure that stock levels are maintained according to the demand. Conduct regular physical inventory audits to reconcile actual stock with system records. Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions. Generate reports on inventory status. Identify and manage defective or damaged stock and equipment. General administrative duties. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar role. Based within a commutable distance of Holyport, Maidenhead. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
