Highly organised and experienced Stock Control & Purchasing Manager needed for fast growth, market leading Vehicle Technology Company. This is an amazing opportunity to join a growing team, to progress fast and learn many new skills.

The Company

Established for over a decade, Exeros Technologies supply and install smart vehicle camera and AI driven vehicle safety systems. A wide portfolio of clients, including some of the largest vehicle fleets and dealers in the UK, has resulted in continued company success. To date we have deployed our systems to over 200 fleet customers in the UK and have helped to reduce fleet accidents and costs by over 80%. Building on these achievements, Exeros is poised to launch several exciting new technologies to automotive OEMs and the fleet/commercial vehicle market. So, we are looking for that special personality that can truly own this role and bring value to our existing team and offering, by bringing a high-level of experience and expertise. Preferably being from a vehicle, technical or engineering background, to help fast track their understanding of our stock, vehicle safety systems and the wider technology we offer.

The Role

Being responsible for all company stock, this role requires someone with a meticulous eye for detail. Furthermore, being able to ensure best value for all company purchasing is a must. Full training will be provided during the induction period. The key duties/responsibilities of the role include:

  • Establishing and maintaining a high-level of stock accuracy for the warehouse and mobile workforce.
  • Being responsible for all stock ordering, goods in, customer dispatches, returned goods and stock movements.
  • Checking and ensuring accuracy of all sales orders prior to Warehouse Team fulfilment.
  • Completing sales orders and approving for invoicing, whilst cross referring with inhouse job management software.
  • Assisting the Warehouse Manager with maintaining the stock take process.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and engineers in relation to stock and consumables.
  • Monitoring paperwork to ensure all systems, procedures, and stock is in accordance with the customer's requirements and those of our business. This includes creating new products in the stock management system.
  • Identifying any products, services, and equipment to be purchased.
  • Establishing quality control and ensuring that bought stock meets company standards.
  • Compiling and maintaining purchase records, supplier databases and procurement.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards.
  • Managing supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation & issue resolution.
  • Managing and reviewing all stock control and purchasing procedures. Advising management of any improvements possible.
  • Other administrative tasks to support the business may be required.

Experience

  • Previous stock control & purchasing management experience is essential.
  • Proven history of ensuring best value when purchasing from supply chain.
  • Candidate must have moderate to strong IT skills, with experience of using stock management software / ERP - knowledge of Unleashed / Xero advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills are important.
  • Must have experience of working to KPI's & objectives.
  • Shown ability to exercise good time management and task prioritisation.
  • Necessary experience / understanding of Quality Standard ISO 9001:2015
  • Preferably experience working in a vehicle, engineering or technical industry.

Qualifications and Education

  • A full UK driver's licence is preferred (ideally clean).
  • The preferred levels of education are Degree or National Diploma Qualification.
