Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm or 7.00am - 4.30pm

Required skills for the Stock controller:

  • Excellent communication and methodical thinking.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics and administrative tasks.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.

As a key member of the team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring efficient stock management. Here's what you'll be responsible for:

  • Oversee stock control, including receipt, storage, distribution, and sales.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to meet current needs without excess or loss.
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure stock records align with physical inventory.
  • Run stock enquiry reports and take necessary actions.
  • Prevent stock loss by adhering to company policies and procedures, maintain a minimum requirement of 90% accuracy.
  • Respond swiftly to problems and discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and process adjustments.
  • Ensure stock records are correct and match the physical holding on site.
  • Respond quickly to problems and discrepancies identified.
  • Collect and compile daily damage reports.
  • Manage the return process to minimise impact on current stock.
  • Reconcile actual counts with system records.
  • Respond to product and inventory inquiries.
  • Be available for stock control functions and end-of-year inventory.
