Role Overview: As a Stock Controller, your crucial role involves managing inventory levels to ensure smooth operations within our organisation. Your primary responsibilities include tracking stock levels, ordering additional supplies, and maintaining accurate stock records. You'll collaborate closely with suppliers, colleagues, and other team members to optimise stock management processes. Key Responsibilities: Checking Stock Levels: Regularly monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supplies are available to meet customer demand Ordering Stock: Place orders for additional stock as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels Updating Stock Records: Keep accurate records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, and adjustments Communication: Collaborate with suppliers, colleagues, and other departments to ensure effective stock management Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance stock control processes and implement improvements Reporting: Compile daily reports on stock levels and address any discrepancies Price and Purchase Records: Maintain records related to pricing, purchases, and other relevant information Random Checks and Audits: Conduct periodic checks to verify stock accuracy Site-Based Role: The position is site-based within the North West region Qualifications and Skills: Experience: Previous experience in stock controlling roles is essential Stock Systems: Proficiency in using stock management systems Strong Communicator: Excellent communication skills to interact with suppliers and colleagues effectively Do you have the relevant experience for this exciting role?
