Job Title: Stock Inwards Controller
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £26,000
Hours: Sunday - Tuesday 0600 - 1800, Wednesday 0600 - 1400

In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless receipt of goods, adhering strictly to site procedures and timelines, reporting directly to the Goods in Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough checks on received goods for accuracy and damages.
- Coordinating the uploading of flight advices and preparing necessary paperwork for expected deliveries.
- Monitoring and managing expected flight times, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
- Handling damaged goods efficiently, following proper protocol for quarantine and further instruction.
- Overseeing the maintenance and usage of all equipment within the goods in area.
- Accurately recording received goods in the system and assisting with loading and unloading tasks.
- Collaborating with various departments to contribute to process improvements.
- Providing coverage during periods of absence or leave as required.
Key Skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Flexibility in scheduling and a proactive attitude towards learning.
- A dedicated work ethic and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Familiarity with Prophet ERP system is advantageous.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
