Provide community mental health nursing that contributes to the wider mental health services available to the mentally ill within prison, particularly for those experiencing serious and enduring mental illness, symptoms of personality disorder, and acute phases of illness.
This includes needs-led interventions, referrals, and liaison with other agencies both within and outside the prison environment.
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading providers of behavioural care and specialist support services, for a Ward Manager based within an independent mental health hospital 10 miles south of Birmingham City Centre.
In addition to providing inpatient services, the hospital has a large Outpatient department and regional conference facilities.
The hospital has thirty-three beds across three wards including a ten bedded female NHS Psychiatric Intensive Care, a thirteen bedded mixed gender NHS acute service, and a bedded private acute ward beds for both men and women.
