Ward Manager RMN

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading providers of behavioural care and specialist support services, for a Ward Manager based within an independent mental health hospital 10 miles south of Birmingham City Centre.

The hospital has thirty-three beds across three wards including a ten bedded female NHS Psychiatric Intensive Care, a thirteen bedded mixed gender NHS acute service, and a bedded private acute ward beds for both men and women. In addition to providing inpatient services, the hospital has a large Outpatient department and regional conference facilities.

The hospital opened in March 2022 and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a new and developing team, in a brand-new hospital located in a beautiful setting.

This is a full-time permanent post and offers a competitive salary £45,668-£51,393 per annum plus

The successful candidate will be

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Abilities:

  • Excellent Leadership and Management Skills
  • Clinical experience within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Good communicator within all situations
  • Experienced in leading a team
  • Able to focus on staffing and develop staff to meets the needs of the ward
  • Experience of supporting students'
  • Knowledge of Mental Health Legislation and Statutory requirements
  • Experience of investigations, complaints and report writing
