Reporting to the Head of SME & Retailer Marketing, the SME & Retailer Marketing will support the creation and execution of the company's marketing & PR plans for SME & Retailer Partners, enabling the delivery of group's core strategic priority to embed its products and services at the heart of SME and convenience retail businesses. Responsibilities: Support the strategy and lead the execution of the company's marketing & PR plan for SME and retailer partners that positions group brands as strategic partners at the heart of convenience retail and broader SME sectors, adding significant value through the provision of pioneering retail technology in partnership with clients. Work closely with the business teams for the Shopping and E-Commerce divisions, developing and executing marketing plans that support the strategic and operational plans for each division as well as holistically, driving sales and adoption via multiple channels Execute social media and content marketing activity for SME and Retailer Partners, including blog posts, articles, white papers, and infographics, working closely with the Head of Digital and Social Media Manager Support development and management of the corporate and commercial websites, working closely with the Head of Digital and team Support management of regular face to face retailer forums and conduct regular insight surveys to help understand and refine the customer experience to deliver improved NPS. Provide regular and consistent reporting of marketing activity and results in order to measure effectiveness and ensure that company activity is in line with envisaged strategic direction. Brand ownership, ensure brands are expressed in a consistent way internally across all touchpoints Support delivery of PR strategy with day-to-day management of overall PR and communications for the SME and Retailer audiences Manage relationship with external agencies/suppliers Work alongside relevant business partners and Finance team to ensure correct tracking and accountability across all marketing budgets. Manage the marketing team to deliver detail, planning and reconciliation across their budget areas. Candidate profile Essentials: 5 years of experience in marketing. Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to learn. Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns across a variety of channels, including digital, social, and print. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to deal with ambiguity. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Desirable: Previous experience within the convenience retail/SME sectors. Responsible for implementing the marketing strategy to support our retail offering including Restaurants, Show Bars, F&B Brands, Activities & Leisure, Entertainment and Shops, to drive footfall, covers, spend per head and awareness, raising the Parkdean Resorts brand profile throughout the UK to educate and inspire new and existing customers. The role partners closely with our Retail Team, supporting the delivery of growth through integrated planning, execution and tracking of multi-channel plans and campaigns focused on accelerating the performance of key sites and new brand concepts via marketing, activations, and experiential tactics. The focus of the role is to drive customer awareness, retention, new customer acquisition and increase audience engagement. This role is a key element to the wider marketing strategy delivering the brand vision authentically and consistently and acts as a key connector between the marketing and retail team, working closely with retail to ensure effective creative execution and activity across all marketing touch points. Marketing Campaigns Work with the retail marketing team to help develop and expand reach of national campaigns to tailor on park activity. Define, build and implement effective and ambitious marketing plans to drive footfall and covers within agreed timelines and budgets, tracking performance to measure success and inform future initiatives. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators such as sales metrics, footfall, conversion rates and customer feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and identify areas for improvement. Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels such as digital, print, social media and events. Plan and execute on park promotions, events and displays to drive foot traffic, increase sales and enhance the overall on park experience. Work with external design and print agencies and key internal stakeholders to project manage core menu updates and roll out of all POS to parks. This includes updating menus, proof reading and distribution of collateral within a timely manner. Assist in co-ordinating and supporting photo shoot opportunities to create captivating visual content for promotional campaigns. Marketing communication Create marketing comms plans for on park activity and support parks to deliver their targets and overall business goals. Support internal departments with any marketing requests to ensure effective, on brand communications. Upkeep digital screens on our Willow system, supporting in quarterly and peak period audits and reviews. Ensure all relevant terms and conditions are displayed and updated accordingly across all channels. Proofing support for Complete Guides and On Park Activities times tables on an ad-hoc basis. Ensure that Parkdean Resources creative library reflects our retail offering and is always up to date. Ensure relevant App banners, socials assets and digital screen content is always up to date. External communication management to maintain relationships with third parties to maximise local marketing opportunities. Relationships Proactively develop relationships with key stakeholders in the business working closely with Retail to ensure integrity of the brand across every execution. Working collaboratively and closely with the rest of the Marketing Team, Retail, Operations, Restaurant teams, Supply Chain and Finance teams to drive retail targets, guest experience and holiday sales. Develop strong relationships with multiple third parties (e.g. Creative agencies, media agencies, local media). Some of the skills we're looking for: Essential Strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at any one time. A keen interest in F&B and retail. Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Marketing role with regional / local experience. Proven track record of managing projects that deliver significant sales & margin growth within budget and on time. Ability to think creatively with experience of commissioning and managing design, including feedback. Resourceful and used to working effectively within relatively tight budgets and timescales. Strong Project Management skills. Passion for understanding consumer behaviour. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong relationships with third parties, colleagues and stakeholders. Desirable: Previous experience of working on menus.
