Empowering Learning are currently working with a Special School in Chessington/Kingston who are looking to appoint SEND Teaching Assistants for a variety of day-to-day, short term and long term bookings.
Special Needs Teaching Assistants support students with special educational needs (SEND) in the classroom as directed by an SEND teacher in order to help pupils succeed with their learning.
It takes a very special person to work with pupils with learning difficulties.
We encourage our students to be critical thinkers and promote these skills throughout the curriculum.
We are very lucky to have an amazing staff team who work together, and a body of professionals who are striving to be the very best they can be.
A student at Harris Boys' Academy will learn how to engage critically with foreign affairs, religion and society, issues of citizenship and the media, so they acquire the skills, and recognise the value of, thinking for yourself and thinking in a well-reasoned manner.
