The successful Project Manager will join a Company offering customisable vehicle validation and testing solutions for Military Vehicles for the UK MoD and OE manufacturers. Whilst most of the time will be onsite in Bedford, you'll also travel within the UK and internationally to visit stakeholders and support testing - so make sure your passport is to hand! Due to the sensitive nature of this Defence work, security clearance is required; you'll need to be a UK Passport holder, resident in the UK for the last 5 years and have a Full UK driving license. What would the Project Manager do? Support the Programmes Manager in managing a variety of projects, from smaller-scale, short-term projects to multi-year, high stakeholder engagement programmes Lead, manage and develop project teams or work streams Use MS Project to schedule and track progress, monitor KPI's, highlight delays etc Monthly budgeting/forecasting and managing project budgets Risk management, using a standard Risk Management Matrix Manage contract deliverables, variations, and amendments Chair of meetings, minute taking and report writing Manage/support bid preparation Build long-term trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders Travel as required within the UK and mainland Europe What skills and experience will the Project Manager need?
