We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team on an urgent basis, working within the ICT space.

This for our client who are a leading domestic insurance company. This will be on a long term contract, Inside IR35 and based working out of London, once a week onsite, turning to two days in the new year.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery and implementation of a key ICT project. The role will focus on managing the entire lifecycle of the project, from planning to execution, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards. Experience with Arcus Global systems is highly advantageous, as this project will involve the deployment or integration of Arcus solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Project Management:** Take full ownership of the ICT project, ensuring all stages-from initial scoping and design to implementation and closeout-are completed efficiently and effectively.
- **Planning and Scheduling:** Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, resource allocation, milestones, and deliverables. Ensure that plans are regularly updated to reflect project progress and changes.
- **Stakeholder Engagement:** Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, technical teams, suppliers, and end-users, to gather requirements, provide regular updates, and manage expectations.
- **Risk Management:** Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans and ensure that any potential risks or issues are communicated and managed proactively.
- **Budget Management:** Oversee the project budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring that the project remains within its financial constraints.
- **Team Coordination:** Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and task delegation. Support team members in meeting project objectives and deliverables.
- **Change Management:** Manage any changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- **Arcus Global System Implementation:** If applicable, manage the implementation, customization, or integration of the Arcus Global system, ensuring that all technical and functional requirements are met.
- **Quality Assurance:** Ensure that project deliverables meet the agreed quality standards and that user acceptance testing is carried out effectively.
- **Documentation and Reporting:** Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and post-project reviews. Regularly report on project progress to the project board or steering committee.
- **Training and Support:** Facilitate training sessions and provide support to end-users to ensure successful system adoption post-implementation.

**Essential Skills & Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in managing and delivering ICT projects, preferably in the public or private sector, with a successful track record of implementation.
- Familiarity or experience with Arcus Global systems or similar cloud-based platforms is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project risks, budgets, and schedules effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Trello.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project environments.

**Desirable:**
- Certification in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).
- Experience working within a public sector or local government setting.
- Familiarity with cloud-based ICT solutions and their implementation challenges.
