Project Officers to a 12-month task and finish group that will provide professional environmental advice and technical guidance to the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) programme, working across the Environment and Infrastructure Directorates.
The Education Project Officer will support the next phase in the delivery of the programme, offering an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who is passionate about education and the opportunity to make a difference to young people's futures.
Reporting directly to the Education Manager, the postholder will provide key support to the scholarships programme, from day-to-day administration to promote the scheme and manage the selection process, to liaising with programme scholars and alumni as well as programme partners, other key stakeholders and the Department for Education.
Key duties include
Act as point of contact for the application and selection process, including dealing with initial enquiries, filtering applications and organising assessments and applicant interviews.
This role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of projects within the Digital, IT and Facilities programme.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and supporting several project leads, you will help ensure that projects are delivered on time, to a high quality and that they meet requirements.
This will require you to work laterally across the organisation.
