Our client are looking for an Engineer to start asap for an ongoing temporary booking to cover the Hertfordshire area They are looking for a candidate who has a mechanical background and who can problem solve, fix mechanical issues and carry out servicing on pumps etc. Duties include but are not limited to. Conduct mechanical tasks such as installing, maintaining, repairing site plant equipment, fault finding Travelling to and from Client sites to install on-site plant equipment such as pumps, pipework, ventilation equipment. Assisting with in depth equipment inspections Prepare, submit generic work, and progress reports / inspection reports Test and Inspection of Safety Equipment (valves and instruments) Purging of gas equipment, plant, and equipment (full training will be provided) Assisting Project Managers with large on-going projects Large site supervision to include supervising on site activities. Site Supervision to include Health and Safety Management, site documentation, manage daily paperwork, toolbox talks, induction registers and all associated paperwork.
