The Company
Due to growth, this prestigious family run manufacturing company is now seeking a skilled production operator to join their team on a permanent full time basis.Over the next few months alone, they are planning to input millions of pounds worth ofinvestment into manufacturing equipment on site in order to automate the bulk of theproduction process.
They will also be expanding their products and introducing newproduction lines to improve efficiency and the overall profitability of the company.
Working in a fast paced production environment with the primary responsibility of monitoring and supervising a team by, removing, inspecting, folding, and packing, completed coffee product ready for customer despatch on time.
The Role
Train, monitor and supervise shift packing line staff to ensure maximum efficiency and product quality to ensure all coffee products are packed to the customer's specification by ensuring all machines are set-up and working well.
Keep waste to a minimum and ensue all machine problems are reported timely to the Shift Manager to maintain maximum machine efficiency, adhering to health and safety and personal hygiene rules at all times.
Working Mon to Fri 45 hours per week with weekly pay, paid holiday, a modern working environment and on site parking available.
You will also assist with some picking, packing of stock and the daily clean down duties of the production area.
Due to an increase in demand and the continued success of our business, we require an additional Warehouse and Production Operative to join our friendly and busy team assisting with the production of our range of fresh products ready for despatch to our customers across the UK.
Converting customer supplied data into programs for production machinery.
Competency with Computer Aided Manufacturing packages for printed circuit board assembly.
The role
The role is within a production environment, producing printed circuit board assemblies and is suited to candidates who have the relevant hands-on experience in supporting a PCB assembly facility.
