About us:
Painted Group is the UK's fastest growing joinery & spray business. Our flagship factory in Croydon is in need of a Production Manager to help manage our growing team of experienced joiners & machinists and support our growth.
Position Overview:
We are in search of an experienced and highly capable Joiner to lead our joinery factory operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing our manufacturing processes to ensure they are carried out efficiently, safely, and effectively. As a hands-on leader, you will not only manage but also directly engage with your team, ensuring high-quality production and workplace morale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with our in-house Designers & Project Managers to deliver projects in a timely manner.
- Quality Control, ensuring our high standards for Joinery excellence are met on all projects, big or small.
- Oversee and take responsibility for ensuring Heath and Safety compliance in the factory.
- Managing inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring availability for scheduled work.
- Maintaining workshop tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and compliant with safety regulations.
- Reading and understanding complex Joinery drawings, providing feedback when necessary to designers in order to make sure drawings are accurate and reflect best practice.

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum - 3-5 years of experience in a Joinery production environment. Ideally with 2 years of leadership experience as either a supervisor or foreman, however we will consider exceptional applicants with leadership potential.
You must have hands-on experience working in joinery. Experience using joinery machinery in a factory environment would be advantageous.

A full UK driving license would be beneficial.
