Role responsibilities
Creating and implementing project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for one or more medium sized projects of low to moderate complexity at any one time.
The Management Accountant will aid and support in decision making and executive level analysis for the organisation.
The Management Accountant contributes to the overall success of the organisation by supporting the UK & Ireland Finance Director in production of accurate and timely financial information to support the Executive team decision making, implementation and enforcement of robust internal control processes and compliance with our statutory financial reporting requirements.
Day to day duties will consist of production of management accounts, development and application of analytical tools to interpret financial information for senior stakeholders; working closely with the divisional line managers and commercial teams; assisting in meeting long term profitability objectives; involvement in the management and improvement of reporting tools for the business.
In this position you will be responsible for managing key Supply Chain related functions end to end, such as purchasing, materials planning, scheduling and ordering activities associated with the delivery of specific customer products, direct and indirect material purchasing, inventory control and warehousing, shipping and receiving.
Main Duties
Manages and directs supply chain function - procurement, receipt, disbursement, and inventory control of material to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels.
Is expected to train, develop and educate direct reports on the use of supply chain management techniques, various business systems, varieties of reports and other related tools to ensure timely and economical completion of customer requirements.
