Are you an experienced researcher looking for new research opportunities within a unique environment? We have an excellent role for a Children, Youth and Families Researcher to join us on a 6-month contract. The postholder will help to conduct a research study to ascertain the breadth and variety of ministry with and for children, youth and families (CYF) in our churches and schools across the Diocese of Manchester, linking this to developments across the Church of England. The postholder will work closely with the Transformation Director, churches, schools, key stakeholders and project teams within the Diocese, as well as other innovative projects across the Church of England. The successful candidate will be a dependable researcher/analyst, confident in their skills to conduct the research work from beginning to end whilst working towards the research objectives. They will have sound understanding of research methodologies and strong problem-solving skills as the role requires the ability to interpret data collated. The postholder must be able to communicate effectively at all levels. Although experience of working within the Church of England is not required, the post holder must be sympathetic to the aims and values of the Church.
