Responsibilities Support the planning, prioritising, and allocation of all relevant client payroll work within own and client's team. Conduct payroll processing during peak times and delegate client work during periods of normal demand. Review all payroll processing work of the team. Supervise Seniors, Semi-Seniors and Assistants who are involved in processing of payroll. Develop and build relationships internally for cross referral opportunities and to become a valued team member across the firm. Payroll Associate - £40,000 - £45,000 Bonus - City of London Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading name within financial services on the recruitment of a Payroll Associate to join on a permanent basis. Our client is offering hybrid working (2/3 days per week required into the office) Collate monthly payroll data and provide it to the payroll vendor via a secure online portal. Review and reconcile payroll output, collaborate with the payroll vendor to correct discrepancies, and approve the payroll once satisfied with the results. Prepare and provide appropriate reports for review and sign-off by the Payroll Manager. Ensure all relevant deadlines are met and that payments are reconciled and made on time. Collaborate with the wider payroll team and other internal/external stakeholders to streamline processes. Provide quality and timely customer service to employees and other stakeholders across all UK businesses. Assist with post-payroll administration tasks. Prepare month-end journals and monitor the SAP GL interface process. Monitor the HR system (Workday) to Payroll (CloudPay) interface. Share responsibility for maintaining the team mailbox and responding to queries in a timely manner. Participate in ad hoc projects as required.
