A small team based in Tring is looking for a Purchasing Administrator to take responsibility for purchasing the best quality equipment, parts, goods, and services from the parent company.
Duties will include processing purchase orders, tracking orders, creating, and maintaining an inventory, quality assurance and liaising with inventory teams and management.
You will be building and maintaining good relationships with new and existing suppliers and ensuring the company's stock and inventory levels are kept within the desired ranges to meet Company objectives.
My client is seeking an Indirect Buyer to join the Purchasing department.
The Indirect Buyer will be working with various stakeholders across the business to expand the scale and scope of indirect purchasing activities, maximising value for money and ensuring professional process and control of expenditure.
The buyer role will be responsible for the procurement and management of inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.
The role requires the ability to influence buying decisions to guarantee preferred terms with regards to quality, cost and delivery that will directly feed into Procurement strategy and the departments SQCDP targets.
The buyer position requires a detail orientated professional, who possesses excellent communication and relationship building skills, coupled with the ability to work under a somewhat time pressured environment to satisfy production demands.
