Purchasing Administrator

Job description

Duties for Purchasing Administrator:
- Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best purchase deals
- Review, raise pro formas, purchase requisitions and create purchase orders
- Assist the MD with contract and FM processes and determine procurement needs and specifications
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Collaborate with suppliers, building relationships to resolve any issues or discrepancies in deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
- Shipping freight and container transport negotiation

- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate their performance
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and product innovations
- Assist marketing with new product photography and upload produce EAN onto system

Qualifications:

- Proven experience within procurement or as a Purchaser
- Strong admin and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
