We are excited to be hiring a new apprentice to join our fantastic Democratic Services team, based at the County Council headquarters, Woodhatch Place, in Reigate.
This role has a starting salary of £21,474 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.
This is a 15-18 month fixed term contract and you will be fully supported and mentored through your apprenticeship and will be given time, whilst at work, to complete your coursework with a dedicated assessor.
They are responsible alongside the other homelessness prevention teams for duties placed on local authorities to prevent homelessness in accordance with Housing Act 1996 Part 7 (as amended).
The Early Intervention Team are part of the Homelessness Prevention Team in the Housing Needs Department at Oxford City Council.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Homelessness Prevention - Early Intervention Team supporting residents of Oxford to sustain their tenancies.
To undertake the effective, economic administration, determination and payment of all financial assessments for the Council in accordance with legislation, local policies, strategies and good practice.
To ensure provision of an effective service to maximise benefits to service users and ensure income maximisation for the authority.
