Games Design Lecturer Location: Greater Manchester PERM ROLE: 0.6FTE (Equivalent to 3 days a week) Salary £26,444-£43,795 (Pro rata salary £15,866.40-£26,277) Start date: September 2024 Morgan Hunt are currently looking to recruit a Games Design lecturer on a part time permanent basis (equivalent to 3 days a week) at an FE Sixth Form College in Greater Manchester JOB ROLE- GAMES DESIGN LECTURER The successful applicant will be able to teach levels 1-3 and understands BTEC and OCR awarding bodies. We also require applicants to have: A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed). A good honours degree in a relevant subject discipline or significant experience within the Games industry. A good knowledge and experience in 3DsMax, with an understanding in Maya and or Blender. Knowledge of games design software (Unreal Engine) as well as Adobe Products, some experience in Revit /Unity would be useful. Familiar with conceptual and design pipeline process of games art and product development. Passionate about the games design and gaming industry. Ability to utilise new technologies to engage, inspire and excite students in the subject area.
