As the CASS Accountant, you will be responsible for providing support to the IBA Controls & MI Manager ensuring the IBA control environment complies with FCA CASS regulation and the delivery of timely and insightful MI to the IBA team and related stakeholders.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the IBA Controls Team and have a clear understanding of unidentified cash amounts, log CASS breaches, and work closely with the other internal IBA teams to increase efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements.
The successful candidate will act as the liaison between the IBA and Management Accounting Teams ensuring that accounting issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.

Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to effectively manage and develop the team on a day-to-day basis providing support to IBA Manager in delivering key performance indicators and an outstanding service to our clients and other stakeholders.
As the IBA Operations Deputy Head - Retail, you will be responsible for managing the Retail IBA Operations Team delivering exceptional service to our business and stakeholders while ensuring the IBA control environment complies with FCA CASS regulation.
You will be responsible for the performance of the team and will have a clear understanding of debtors, creditors, unallocated cash, uncollected brokerage and funded amounts, working closely with the other internal and external parties to increase efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements.
Responsibilities
Provide support to the IBA Operations Head Retail and other Senior Managers within the IBA Team to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.
Financial management: Managing the financial aspects of the firm, including budgeting, financial reporting, and billing processes.
Knowledge and experience of the Solicitors Accounts Rules and AML legislation are essential.
You will work closely with the firms' accountants and our accounts team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and monitor the firm's financial health.
