A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a 3-month contract to start ASAP, based in Hatfield (Hybrid) Outside IR35. An experienced Business Analyst, with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to understand complex processes and document in a clear and concise manner. The project is to understand and document a range of request types and forms currently in use, covering a wide range of business areas, to feed into a business plan for a new Employee Experience Portal, capturing requirements to support the building of the portal. Responsibilities Working with a range of stakeholders internally within Group Infrastructure Services and across the business to define the requirements, processes, procedures, approvals, and pain points of existing processes. Define As-Is and To-Be processes, identify and assessing any risks and dependencies and taking steps to address these. Identify process improvements and overlaps to streamline the requests. Produce project documentation, for example, flow diagrams, Business Requirements documentation, RAID logs, etc. Working with the technical teams to review software solutions and to hand over requirement specifications. Comply with both internal and external standards such as security, legislation, and best practice. Knowledge & key skills - Essential Highly motivated and focussed individual with an organised and systematic approach. Has been a senior business analyst, analysing and delivering enhancement requests for a core business system, deployed in a medium to large sized company. Analytical approach to problem-solving. Excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation and quickly build good working relationships. To be able to piece together information across multiple sources, processes, and systems. Be able to write high quality requirement documents, use cases and produce clear process flow documents in Visio. Be able to design business processes, perform requirements analysis and run requirements workshops. Be able to drive and influence others in both IS and the business to deliver to schedule. Knowledge & key skills - Desired Experience of Request Management processes Experience of ServiceNow functionality around forms, processes, and approvals.
