My client, a highly-regarded law firm, have an opportunity for a Paralegal with an interest in human rights and a strong desire to represent and secure justice for vulnerable adults to join their highly sought after Court of Protection department, which is recommended in both Chambers and Partners and in the Legal 500.
The Court of Protection can make decisions about the health and welfare, and the property and financial affairs of adults who lack mental capacity to make decisions for themselves.
This role may lead to a training contract at a later date depending on performance.
You will run cases from instruction through to exchange, dealing with both leasehold and freehold residential properties.
You will be supported by a talented legal assistant, working together on your matters, ensuring that conveyancing transactions are handled in a professional and efficient manner with clients and referrers.
