My client, a leading Property Firm is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their expanding team. The company has recently acquired a number of new businesses that will increase the revenue for the group function. As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for delivering for a high value portfolio reporting directly into the Finance Director. Other duties will consist of. Preparation of sales invoices, processing of purchase invoices and maintaining cash book. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and all monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring all balances are supported by appropriate documentation. Complete intercompany reconciliations. Maintain Fixed Asset Register, depreciation schedules and IFRS 16 lease calculations. Preparation and review of interest calculation schedules. Prepare and post monthly journals, accruals, and prepayments. Review and analyse monthly trial balances and variances. Preparation and review of annual finance statements in accordance with IFRS. Liaise with external auditors, tax & legal advisors (when required). Preparation and review of VAT and CIT returns. Supporting budget holders with Purchase Order creation and monitoring. Perform monthly detailed expense analysis for use by senior finance. Part Qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant Educated to degree level Relevant broader finance experience Intermediate to advanced excel
