IT Operations Manager - Hybrid Our client, based in the West Drayton area have an exciting opportunity for an IT Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Due to internal promotions, the IT Operations manager will lead their IT Operations team located in the West Drayton area which consists of 6-7 full time employees, covering 1st to 3rd line support plus a range of key suppliers and consultants. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the organisations EMEA IT service, ensuring it remains accessible and secure to their computer users consisting of over 3000 workers. Key Responsibilities: Managing the business-as-usual IT operations covering desktop and back-end services. Contributing to change initiatives, projects and continual improvements to the IT service. Reporting to Senior Management on service performance progress of projects. Contributing to the alignment between IT Service and Information Security processes in collaboration with the IT Security Team. Managing the performance appraisal and development needs of the IT Operations team. Being a key member of the Incident Response Team. Essential Skills: Experience working in IT Operations as well as proven experience at management level Service Management qualification/s. ITIL, SDI or equivalent. Expert knowledge of Windows/Server, VMWare, Microsoft O365, SAN, Network. Experience with Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery. Experience with Third Party Supplier management and procurement. Effective communicator who can collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Self-motivated with keen attention to detail who strives to deliver IT excellence. We are looking for an Operations Co-Ordinator to support the Operations Manager. This is an incredibly varied administrative role where you are part of a team that is the integral cog in the smooth running of the business. It would suit someone who loves to be busy. You do not need experience within the tech industry but it would be advantageous. Working Hours and Pay Monday - Friday 9-5.30pm with hybrid working. Salary negotiable depending on experience. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for operational queries for external and internal sources. Processing Volume Licensing Agreements. Placing purchase orders. Liaising with Microsoft surrounding licensing queries, placing orders and updates on system/process changes. Maintain the Operations email box to ensure that all emails are actioned correctly and promptly. Handle queries from sales, customers, suppliers and manufacturers. Working closely with sales ensuring all orders are correct before processing. Completing Volume Licence Agreements with great attention to detail and tracking until these have been signed by the customer and accepted by Microsoft. Liaising with the Customer Service team on ETA's/returns. Running reports for the sales team. Maintain product pricing and creating price sheets. Prepare and update monthly renewal reminders. Reporting on new Enterprise Agreement activity monthly. Complete agreement creation paperwork for Microsoft contracts. Manage and provide timely response to Microsoft queries within the team inbox. Communicate product and program updates with the wider business. What experience do you need? Excellent organisational skills. Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Ability to multitask and prioritise work under pressure, work without supervision and use initiative to ensure that deadlines are met. Commitment to see a job through to a successful conclusion. A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. Effective time management skills with the ability to plan ahead.
