As a General Manager you will oversee the club's daily operations, ensuring members and guests have an excellent experience and receive best-in-class service through a dedicated and driven team. We are looking for a decision maker who is ambitious, motivated and customer centric. You will have a natural flair for sales and be competitive to reach occupancy and secondary spend targets. Daily Duties include: Recruit, coach and manage team members. Develop and manage the club's budget in collaboration with the Support team. Monitor and report on financial performance, including attendance, revenue, stock, payroll, and cost controls. Collaborate on local outreach and partnership plans. Create and implement a monthly local marketing calendar. Follow company-directed sales processes and systems. Conduct regular health and safety audits, train staff on procedures, and maintain records of incidents. Develop and manage staff schedules, approve time-off requests, manage overtime, and address attendance issues. Plan and execute customer retention, referral, and B2B strategies. Propose ideas to improve studio attendance and occupancy rates. In summary we are looking for a General Manager who wants autonomy to run this fitness and wellness business as it was their own! You may come from the health, fitness, wellness, retail or hospitality sectors but you need to have proven leadership experience and a track record of delivering targets and maintaining the highest standards. As part of the Estates Department, the Facilities Manager will lead a team of Facilities Assistants and manage contracted service partners to maintain a secure and well-maintained campus environment. Key responsibilities include implementing and managing FM service strategies, overseeing daily operations such as cleaning, maintenance, H&S, and minor works projects and refurbishments. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Campus Manager to monitor and report on service partner performance against established SLAs and KPIs, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a demonstrable track record of overseeing a range of FM operational functions and services within a similar environment. They should have a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service, as well as an understanding of H&S regulations and compliance.
