Senior Sponsorship Manager - B2B Events

Quest Search and Selection are partnering with this fast-growing, B2B online Publication within the FMCG, Tech & Retail space. The business has already created waves in the events space, utilising new events and campaigns to engage their communities.

They are looking for talented sales, B2B Events Sponsorship Manager or Senior Manager who will be focusing significantly on building contacts and developing new business relationships whilst working towards the strategy for the publication.

The roles and responsibilities of this Senior Sponsorship Manager - B2B Events role:

  • Generating sponsorships for the event portfolio, including conferences, awards, communities, and crafting customized events on demand.
  • Playing a key role in the retention of clients by providing a high level of customer service and ensuring maintaining contact with key clients.
  • Daily contact with clients, to request information, get approvals etc.
  • Making sure targets are met consistently (sales, outreach, meetings and proposals)
  • Interacting and pitching with clients via the phone, Video Call and Face to Face meetings
  • Creating bespoke and targeted proposals to meet the needs of your clients.
  • Undertaking competitor analysis, identifying current trends and future opportunities
  • Creating client reports and collating meeting outcomes, working to deadlines
  • Work closely with content, marketing, client relations, and operations teams to ensure the successful delivery of products and campaigns.

Experience and skills required for this Senior Sponsorship Manager - B2B Events position :

  • 3 years + experience operating a Sales/Business Development /Sponsorship /Senior Account Managers or Director level.
  • Must have experience in working in B2B Events(Currently holding 2-4 events per month).
  • Ideally have experience in the retail or consumer space but open to background.
  • Must be able to attend events (predominately in London).
  • Experience in creating personal sales plans.
  • Managing client campaigns and event delivery.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and to maximize profits.
  • Able to juggle multiple projects at a time, whilst maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
