Overview:
We are looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge, and experience as you complete an IT Network Engineering Level 4 apprenticeship.

This job offers the opportunity for you to grow, working with clients on a day-to-day basis and supporting their continued success via email, phone, and remote support software. With regular visits to client premises, a confident team player is required with a high standard of organisational skills and an exceptional customer service focus

Salary: £22,000 per annum.

Duties:

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and support of network and Wi-Fi hardware and software.
  • Support on other technologies such as network printers and video conferencing.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on network equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and Wi-Fi issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Monitor network performance and security, implementing necessary measures to maintain network integrity.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to design and deploy network solutions that meet organisational requirements.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and assist with network-related inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

You will need to stay current with emerging network technologies and industry trends to enhance skills and knowledge.

Entry requirements:

  • an A-Level in ICT
  • OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT
  • OR an A-Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
